Balance…Balance between the emotional, physical, spiritual. Balance between work, play, being a mother, a wife, eating healthy and exercise. Life is about balance. When we feel we are in balance we feel a sense of harmony, a sense of wholeness.
We are probably not going to feel balanced all the time. There are so many facets of life to juggle. Practicing yoga and/or meditation helps us to return to our center. To realize where we may be out of balance. Yes I am referring to when standing on one leg or in the balance poses but also where we are out of balance deep within ourselves and within our lives. When we feel balanced internally…that energy reflects outward in our everyday life.
On a pesonal note, I am a new mother and striving to find balance within this “new life” I am living. There is definitely a lot more to manage.
If you are feeling overwhelmed remember there is a space inside you that is perfect, whole, complete, at peace and balanced. Tune in, take and deep breath and return to the truth of who you are.
