Letting Go

And the more stuff-emotional, physical, mental or spiritual-thats weighing you down, the less progress you’re making toward things that are really important in your life.”  -Betty Mahalik

Springtime is a great season for letting go. Spring cleaning in our closets, letting go of the negative thoughts in our minds and cleansing our bodies to open to new positive energies. Letting go of the old to make room for the new.

Letting go does not always feel easy. Maybe it is letting go of a relationship or job that no longer serves us. We know we need to let go and we have held on too long. Maybe we hold on to long because it hurts to let go or because of fear. But when we let go of anything we make space. Space for our highest good to enter.  Sometimes letting go is a process and that is alright.

Really, we are always letting go. We are constantly changing so we are  always letting go of who we once were. We are always letting go of the moment that has just passed.  Forgiving is letting go. Grieving is letting go.  When we breathe we let go with each exhalation. Life is transient. Nothing is permanent therefore we cannot avoid the process of letting go.  Take some deep breathes and remember to be patient with yourself as you let go of what was to fully embrace what is.

Thank you, Tara…. for being you…. for mirroring to me such a beautiful reflection of my highest self. For acknowledging who you are…. imperfectly “perfect” you:)

This letting go writing really spoke to me. It is so true- and making space for the new feels much better. Thanks Tara
